Easy Friday Night Dinner

It was a Friday night, and I was beat from working all day. I couldn't bother to slave over the hot stove. That's when an idea popped into my head why not make tuna? Tuna is shown to be very healthy and can help you lose weight. So after I rested I headed to the kitchen. I opened a can of tuna fish into a bowl and added mayo, black pepper, garlic and onion powder and cayenne pepper.I also added chopped red onions.  Next, I cut tomato in slices and then I added some fresh cut lettuce and pickles. For the final touch I added some Ritz snow flake shaped crackers.

   Hello, my name is Janine and the topic today is about school lunches. As a fellow parent I worry if my children are getting enough nutrients. Many ask if school lunches are healthy and are they good for my child's body system? Now in-days there are many causes that lead to child obesity(lack of exercise, poor diet, etc.) and also as a concerned parent I want to make sure that they stay on  healthy diet and keep active. One day as my daughter came home from school, she told me that a boy found a roach in his french fries. I was very disgusted by this. Schools should be clean, sanitary however, not in this case. Statistics show schools often have dirt and unwanted rodents due to the food held there. I also asked her what they serve and she said, "french fries, hamburgers, nuggets and pizza". I was very shocked at this. They should serve more healthier food. Many parents make their kids lunch so why don't you give it a try. Below are some ideas you use:

• Tuna fish sandwich (whole wheat/ grain)    
•  Fruits (grapes, apples, strawberry's,etc.)
• Yogurt
• Granola Bar
• Salad
• Water/Fruit Smoothies/Juice (Preferably v8, aloe drinks)
• Veggies!
